The CYK series is a product specially designed and developed for energy conservation and control of open roll mills. This device has optimized the system of open roll mills for energy-conserving, stable and safe performance.
■A mixing workshop is the core of the rubber industry, the department of utmost importance in a rubber plant, the majority user of energy account for 40% of the total, and currently one of the most focused departments or processes in energy conservation. Application of this device to a great extent will present a considerable energy saving rate of over 20%.
■With the integrated intelligent control for open roll mills, the starting current may be reduced significantly (e.g. for a 250 kW motor, the current will reach more than 3,000 A upon direct starting, while it will be reduced to around 450 A if the device is employed), realizing real soft starting and benefiting from energy conservation. The considerably reduced starting current will no longer lead to an impact on the grid nor a decrease in grid voltage, eliminating trips or failure of other electrical equipment arising from starting of open roll mills, and thus allowing more installations while the grid capacity remains the same.
■This device allows easy setting of roller revs and acceleration/deceleration time and rate, and makes operations more intelligent and humanized. Its over 10 protection functions ensure the long-term running of equipment with stability and safety.
■With the impacts upon starting eliminated, the service lives of axles, gears, reduction drives, lubrication systems, cooling parts and other mechanical parts are prolonged, which reduces the expenditure on repair and provides convenience and safety to operation.
