The CY-D series low-voltage dynamic VAR compensator employs a transistor as the acerous idle-contact switch of multiple-level capacitor set for fast and stepless switching, which overcomes the defects of a traditional device such as easy burning of contacts, easy damage of capacitors and low power factor, presenting satisfying compensation effect for transient impact loads. The three-phase independent control technique employed by the product has successfully solved the technical difficulty of dynamic VAR compensation for three-phase imbalanced impact loads, while the zero current input technology settles the one of easy damage of transistors in harmonic environments under zero voltage input. The dynamic interface of the CY-D series dynamic VAR compensator responses fast (shorter than 20 ms), allowing real-time dynamic VAR compensation that improves the power factor to more than 0.95, reducing voltage fluctuation, suppressing voltage for consumption reduction, and improving the utilization of power transmission and transformation equipment.
